5G Evolution: Cloud Native technologies enabling Network and Infrastructure automation.

Mr. Prabhjot Singh Seth shared his views on 5G evolution, cloud-native technologies, and enabling network and infrastructure automation.

Mr. Singh highlighted the importance of bringing about the need for the Edge cloud and the challenges around it. He emphasized the potential of edge computing in 5G and spoke about the significance of data sovereignty and governance. He also discussed the Nephio approach, where telcos and public cloud vendors team up to work together. He also goes into detail about how K8s is enabling cloud native technologies through mechanisms that enable automation and are managed with an intent-driven and event-driven mechanism.

He also shares how Coredge platforms help orchestrate cloud-native Open RAN workloads and enable lifecycle management of services as well as Kubernetes clusters.
