Presales Engineer / Presales Solution Architect – Cloud Platforms

Role Overview

We are hiring a customer-facing Presales professional with strong experience in OpenStack, Kubernetes, and the Red Hat ecosystem. The role focuses on solutioning, RFP responses, documentation, and technical presentations for enterprise and government cloud opportunities using our Cloud Management Portal with native OpenStack & Kubernetes distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical presales engagements with enterprise and government customers
  • Understand customer requirements and design private / hybrid cloud solutions
  • Architect solutions using OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Linux (RHEL)
  • Own and contribute to RFP / RFQ / Tender technical responses
  • Create high-quality solution documents, architecture diagrams, and BoMs
  • Deliver product demos and technical presentations
  • Work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams for deal closure

Required Skills & Experience

Technical

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of OpenStack architecture & services
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operations
  • Experience with Linux / Red Hat ecosystem (RHEL, OpenShift exposure preferred)
  • Understanding of virtualization (KVM / VMware), networking, and storage fundamentals

Presales & Communication

  • Proven customer-facing experience
  • Strong technical documentation and presentation skills
  • Experience responding to RFPs / tenders
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Good to Have

  • Exposure to Cloud Management Platforms (CMP)
  • Experience with government / PSU cloud projects
  • Basic understanding of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Certifications: CKA / Red Hat / OpenStack (preferred)

  • Comfortable engaging with CXOs, architects, and operations teams
  • Can independently own solutioning for complex cloud deals
